One of the top executives under the former Bell City Administrator Robert Rizzo has been put on notice that he will be discontinued as part of a shake-up in the leadership of the city that have driven the finance by still-ongoing public corruption cases.
Lourdes Garcia, who got $ 422,000 a year as one of the trusted hands of Rizzo's, became the newest Bell officials forced out in a small town, the working class.
Rizzo, Assistant Chief, Angela Spaccia, and five former alderman faced corruption charges criminals, accused of looting the city Treasury to pay large salaries and generous pensions benefits them.
Garcia is now witness for the prosecution in the Government case against her former boss. He has been given immunity in exchange for testimony.
He is one of them drew salary which makes them among the public officials of the most highly compensated in California, and possibly the nation.
