Unemployment rate falls but our economy remains sluggish

This is so stupid it hurts. We need a programme of work and it took us a year ago. We will never go down deficits as long as unemployment remains high.

What the article fails to mention is the change under Reagan. If you have exhausted the benefits You then you are no longer counted as unemployed and the unemployment rate is much higher than officially claimed.

This is a waste of economic capacity, wasting money and most of all a waste of human resources. The longer someone less unemployment they are productive when they return to work, it is a fact. It is also the fact that if we have a programme of work, the people in it are going to spend the money they created more demand in the economy and thus more private sector jobs.

Republicans know this but they have intentionally hurt the economy in the hopes that they will regain power. Because the ' baggers seized power at home running on the job, they have yet to introduce a bill that will create jobs but they have killed hundreds of thousands of jobs by not extending assistance to the States for teachers, police officers and fire fighters employed. When you're sick of education then you eat the seed corn. This set the stage for a future in which we are less competitive. Republicans are more interested in power and protect the rich at all costs the average American needs. Outrageous but they no shame …

New employee Policy Manual was approved by the Eau Claire county board

Eau Claire (WQOW)-New employee Policy Manual approved by the Council Tuesday night Eau Claire County by a 10-6 vote.

Collective bargaining agreement expires at the end of the year in Eau Claire County and under the controversial amendments, signed into law by Governor Walker, unions can no longer be negotiated work rules.

The new rules would also limit employees to not more than six months of leave is not paid. Previously, they could take up to a year-and-a-half.

County workers currently earn overtime pay and comp time during the hours that they work out their daily shift is scheduled. Under the new policy manual they will only get overtime and comp time to work more than forty hours a week.

TSA employee accused of sexual assault

Transportation security administration employees accused of sexually assaulting a woman was in uniform and after she showed him the badge for the alleged victims, according to Prince William County Police.

Harold Glenn Rodman, 52, Loop in block 10500 Winfield Manassas, allegedly approached the woman on the street where he lives.

Rodman was held without bond Monday court date set for January, court records show. He is charged with aggravated sexual battery, sexual penetration, sodomy object forced and kidnapping with the intention of the wreckage, police said.

Police said they had no idea where Rodman works for gain or in what capacity. TSA spokesman was not immediately available Monday for comment.

On Sunday around 3: 25 pm, police responded to reports of sexual assault. The two women said they had been approached by a man who they don't know, and that he attacked one of them before escaping, police said. Police said the woman reported she had been wearing uniforms and show badges.

Bell officially out of work in leadership shake

One of the top executives under the former Bell City Administrator Robert Rizzo has been put on notice that he will be discontinued as part of a shake-up in the leadership of the city that have driven the finance by still-ongoing public corruption cases.

Lourdes Garcia, who got $ 422,000 a year as one of the trusted hands of Rizzo's, became the newest Bell officials forced out in a small town, the working class.

Rizzo, Assistant Chief, Angela Spaccia, and five former alderman faced corruption charges criminals, accused of looting the city Treasury to pay large salaries and generous pensions benefits them.

Garcia is now witness for the prosecution in the Government case against her former boss. He has been given immunity in exchange for testimony.

He is one of them drew salary which makes them among the public officials of the most highly compensated in California, and possibly the nation.

China Solar project in rack U.S. trade lines

BEIJING (Reuters)-the largest solar power plant developers in China has detained U.S. $ 500 million project was planned during the anti-dumping trade disputes, General Manager of the company said on Monday.

CECEP AHMAD Solar Energy Technology Co. Ltd., a unit of State-owned giant China energy conservation and environmental protection groups, says the planned installation of China-made solar panels to generate power in California, New Jersey and Texas would have made uneconomical by the U.S. anti-dumping moves.

"If the price of solar panels on the rise, say 30 percent in the United States, after moving, then we will definitely go down the plan because there is no profit to be made," Cao Huabin, general manager of solar energy, said CECEP AHMAD press conference in Beijing.

Price of solar panels in projects, which account for about 70 percent of the cost, set to jump if Washington imposes duties on imports of Chinese products are U.S. rival says violations of agreed global trade rules.

"I don't see any alternative to China's solar panels," Cao said, describing the Chinese products have "low price but good quality."
